Food and Beverage Manager

$80,000+ a year

The Village, a 20,000-square foot commercial event space downtown is seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Sales Manager. Our candidate is to be responsible for managing all F&B operations and for delivering an excellent guest experience. The successful candidate will be able to forecast, plan and manage all F&B orders, staff and finance. The primary role of this position is to maximize sales and revenue through client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all day-to-day F&B operations

  • Interface with prospective and existing clients

  • Maintain high standards of internal and external customer service

  • Manage distribution of food and beverage menus to guest

  • Order requisite goods for clients

  • Continuously make suggestions for necessary improvements for staff and facility

  • Anticipate customers needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns

  • Lead F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel

  • Establish and manage targets and schedules

  • Assist Sales team in guest walkthrough

  • Experience in various sizes and styles of event service

  • Experience in creating a sales sheet/proposal for staff

 

Requirements

  • Experienced in food and beverage management

  • Ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently

  • Excels in leading and delegating multiple tasks

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • Strong sense of food and beverages trends and best practices

  • Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets

  • Guest and service oriented

  • Culinary school diploma or degree in Food service management, BA, or related field
